Our new Seca® medical Body Composition Analyzer Ultra measures your percentage of body fat, muscle, and water.  This particular model is top of the line and boosts the highest accuracy in the industry, worldwide. This can be very useful in concert with a weight loss program, to make sure you are losing fat and not muscle.  It can also be used to show your increase in muscle mass in conjunction with a physical training program.

We will give you a "Medical Book of You,” updated by your physician after your annual visit (regardless of whether that’s an insurance preventative exam, a Medical Wellness Visit, or a subscription routine annual exam).   The Book of You is updated and printed in a durable and aesthetic format for you annually, and makes an excellent reference for you, caregivers, consulting subspecialists, or medical professionals when you are traveling abroad.  This option is especially beneficial for people with many complex medical conditions.

A head-to-toe routine screening physical exam that is independent of any specific medical condition.  If you have Medicare without a supplemental plan, you may be interested in this option because annual Medicare Wellness Visits do not include a physical exam.  If you have a commercial insurance plan that covers preventative annual visits, then we would recommend you select a different benefit.

The option to schedule home visits saves you time and the stress of travel.  This benefit is especially useful for seniors who have a difficult time traveling to the clinic.  The convenience of scheduling the physician to come to your home can save time both for you and in some cases a caregiver who may need to take time away from other obligations to bring you to the clinic.  The home visit itself will still be billed to your insurance, but the convenience and physician travel time is a subscription benefit option.

Hereditary cancer testing is a type of genetic test that can help you find out if you’re at higher risk for developing cancer due to certain types of genetic changes that may have been passed down through your family.  Myriad MyRisk® is one example of such a test.  Your insurance may cover this test, in which case we recommend you pick a different subscription benefit.  We will be happy to help you determine whether your insurance will cover the test.  If they do not, for example because of adoption or other reasons for unknown family history, or simply because your family history of cancers do not rise to the level of their coverage, then you may pick this as a benefit.  We recommend you only pick this benefit once, then in future years you can pick a different benefit.

Many people wind up with dozens of old pill bottles, and can sometimes be unclear on which ones are current.  If you choose this benefit, we will ask you to bring in all your medications.  Your physician will personally sort them out, appropriately dispose of the old ones you do not want, and select a specific pill organizer that fits the size of your pills and frequency of your medications.  Your doctor will then load your new pill organizer with the first full set of pills, ready for you to use.  The new medication organizer is included in the benefit, if you need or want one.

Your physician will assemble a personalized travel med kit for you, tailored to the geographic location, the type of travel you’re doing, and your specific medical conditions.  Your kit may include prescription medications, over the counter medications with specific instructions on when and how to use them, and other items such as first aid supplies.  It is organized personally by your physician, who knows you and your health conditions.  This is done in conjunction with a Travel Advice medical visit, which is covered by most insurance plans, but the creation of your physical travel medical kit itself by your physician is a subscription benefit.
